A-Plus Makes U-turn: Apologises For Decribing Two Deputy Chiefs Of Staff As Corrupt And St*pid
Controversial hiplife artiste and a staunch member of the NPP, A-Plus has apologised for using some unpalatable words against Francis Asenso-Boakye and Samuel Abdulai Jinapor, the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff.
The musician after describing them as corrupt, arrogant and st*pid has beaten a u-turn and apologised for the harsh words against them.
A-Plus over the weekend descended heavily on the two for various acts of corrupts deals, revealing that is, the lowest point in the Akufo-Addo led government.
He will then go ahead to reecho the same sentiments on Asempa FM on Monday and threatened to blow the cover on the alleged corrupt deals if dared.
But in a sharp twist, A-Plus in an interview on Accra based Joy FM on Wednesday morning apologised to the President Akufo-Addo as well as the two appointees for using a wrong approach and wrong languague.
On the corruption allegation, the musician refused to back down and said he is convinced beyond reliable doubt that they are corrupt.
“I apologise to the President for using the method and language I used in expressing my feelings,” he rendered, adding that the reaction may be borne out of his high expectation for the President Akufo-Addo.
“My expectation of Nana Addo is just too high [and] sometimes I just jump the gun”.
“I apologise about how I put it, I have apologised to the people [two officials] but not the substance of the accusation… Not to the people I made the allegations against.”
