The flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party,has blamed Wednesday’s disaster on government’s failure to act decisively.
In a Facebook post, the former presidential hopeful said “we have not been able to take measures that are drastic” to prevent these occurrences and this points to what he described as “weak-need leadership”.
He asked President Mahama “to lead from the front” and said he “is ready to support concrete, specific, needed action to solve the problem”.
near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle on Wednesday evening just after heavy rains flooded most parts of Accra.
Over 200 people are feared dead in the disaster.
