Asamoah Gyan Acquires License To Operate Airlines
The skipper of the Senior National football team, Asamoah Gyan is set to start an airline company called Baby Jet Airways in Ghana.
The new business venture will be the latest addition to his businesses following successfully operations in the transport, boxing and detergent sectors.
The disclosure was made at a 3-day Aerospace and Aviation Exhibition of West Africa at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra by President Akufo-Addo.
Whilst commending the footballer for the initiative, he reiterated his government’s preparedness to support the aviation sector in order to make the industry more viable.
The programme, the first of its kind to be held in Africa is being attended by about 126 exhibitors and 300 African and international attendees.
It has in attendance professionals and other industry players in the aviation industry who will try to discover the latest developments and innovations in the industry for the African Market.
The Expo will also provide an opportunity for manufacturers and service providers in the sector to explore and meet potential customers.
