CPP Flagbearer Interacts With Persons With Disability In B/A
The Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) for the 2016 elections Mr Ivor Greenstreet has on monday met and interacted with the members of the Association of the persons with disabilities as part of his tour of the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The purpose of the meeting was to afford him the opportunity to introduce himself officially to members of the disability family to solicit their support and endorsement as their colleague in the upcoming 2016 general election.
Mr Ivor Greenstreet was touring the Bono- Ahafo Region to expressed his gratitude to the delegates of the CPP for the confidence reposed in him by voting massively for him to lead the party as a flagbearer for the 2016 elections.
Mr Ivor Greenstreet who himself is a disable used the opportunity to interact with the persons with disabilities in the Region.
He appealed to them to rally behind him as their colleague who understands their plight and, vote for him massively in the upcoming general elections to address their challenges.
The Leadership of the Association congratulated Mr Greenstreet on his nomination as the Flagbearer for the Convention People’s Party.
They described his election as another significant milestone chalked by the disability fraternity and a clear demonstration of the confidence Ghanaians have in persons with disabilities.
According to them, though the Association is non partisan and are not supposed to meddle in partisan politics, the would do their possible best to offer him the support he needs as a disabled colleague member.
