Duapa FM Presenter ‘Blue Boy’ Laid To Rest

The Mortal remains of Kwesi Kwarteng of Kintampo based Duapa FM, (now defunct) was last Saturday laid to rest at Ntankoro in the Kintampo South District.

Blue Boy, as he was affectionately called in Media circle died at the age of 33.

He was laid in state at his family residence where special prayers were observed in his honor before the interment and followed by the final funeral rites.

In attendance at the funeral service were Elders from the Christ Apostolic Church where he worshiped and Fountain Gate, the CEO of Frank Multi Media Company and some opinion leaders and Heads of Institutions from Kintampo North and South.

Family members, friends, sympathizers, Duapa Fun Club Members and Presenters from ADARS and Duapa FM filed past the body to pay their last respect to one of the finest Presenters the Kintampo Municipality had ever produced.

The late Blue Boy started his radio career at ADARS FM in Kintampo where he had worked for over a decade before he finally quits to join the Frank Media Company Limited in 2012.

Until his death, he was the host of Duapa FM’s Mid Morning Show.

He died in May this year after a protracted illness. He left behind three children.
