Election 2016 | Mahama’s Campaign Train Hits Northern Region
President John Dramani Mahama today begins a four day tour of the Northern region as part of his campaign towards re-election.
The Northern region which is the second region after the Western region the president will be visiting since he kick-started his campaign will see the president pay a courtesy call on the newly enskinned Kpembewura in Salaga.
He is also expected to interact with the chiefs and people of Kpandai, Bimbilla, Wulensi, Yendi, Gushiegu, Zabzugu, Tatale, Mion, Nanton and Chereponi as part of the tour.
Meanwhile, a coalition of opposition parties in the Northern region have taken to the streets of the Northern regional capital to protest against the harsh economic conditions in the country.
