The chief scribe of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia has stirred more controversy by wading into the alleged drug tag of the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to the controversial politician, as far as he is concerned Nana Akufo-Addo uses drugs as he has not refuted the publications by wikileaks that he is a drug addict.
His comment follows a silimar allegation by a popular serial caller, Appiah Stadium that the president smokes wee but has since apologised after a lot of public bashing.
“It is sad I was denied a visa, I would have wrapped a substance and smoked infront of the president and his entourage and show them that he smokes.”
But peaking on the issue on Tuesday September 26, Asiedu Nketiah mounted a spirited defence for the unfortunate comment by the NDC sympathiser revealing that Appiah Stadium spoke the truth.
He added that he is surprised the National Security has invited Appiah Stadium over the comment considering that the comment is in line with the dictates of free speech as enjoined by our constitution.
“What Appiah Stadium said is the truth. The issue of drug use is now an albatross tightly fixed around the neck of the President. Akufo-Addo has not cleared himself after Wikileaks said he smokes wee so I believe (what Wikileaks published).”
