The Peace FM Goaso correspondent, King George Abanga, shot dead in September has been buried on Saturday October 31, at Mim in the Brong-Ahafo region.
King George (real name George Asambo) was shot at close range by unknown assailants on the Sankore-Norbekaw road whilst following up on a story regarding the controversies surrounding the diversion of fertilizers meant for cocoa farmers in the area.
The Success FM reporter started his working life as a tailor but was later drafted into radio having spent years contributing on radio as a serial caller.
King George was born on August 4, 1976. He is survived by his wife, Comfort and one daughter, Emefa.

The police are still investigating circumstances surrounding his gruesome murder.
