The Captain of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has refuted the claim that, he was one of the major financiers of the New Patriotic Party.

He gave instances where the player was involved in some activities which he suggested were connected to the NPP, including an invitation to Nana Akuffo Addo to grace the official opening of his 3 million Dollar Machine in Accra in June last year.
The Presenter went further allege that, The Black Stars Captain in a bid to woo the electorates to vote for the NPP, has shipped a consignment loaded with some agricultural products which included cutlasses to be distributed to them particularly those in the farming communities.
However, whilst the program was ongoing, Gyan tweeted and said ‘ Say no to irresponsible journalism, the Owners and Managers Of Muntie FM must call their journalist to order’, he began.
