Aston Villa who were relegated into the Championship in the just ended 2015/16 Premiership season was reportedly sold for a cut off price after their poor showing in the English premier league.

Players of the Club have already been informed of the imminent takeover by the Chinese Group headed by Dr. Tony Xia. The group owns the controlling interest in five publicly listed companies on the Hong Kong and Chinese stock exchanges and other private companies employing 35,000 people in 75 countries around the world.

It is believed that a manager will be appointed very soon now that the deal has been finalized and completed with the former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo and Nigel Pearson in pole position to land the vacant job.

The club with such a huge following will look to find a quick qualification back into the English top flight football which seems to be the new Chairman’s major objective at the moment.

Dr. Tony Jiantong Xia who played football as a striker will also have to bring European football to the Villa park as he will look to lead the club into a top six finish in the premiership.
