Berekum Chelsea Football Club has signed former Black Starlets striker Sadick Adams on a free transfer from Alfeiha of Saudi Arabia.
After an extensive negotiation, the 25-year-old prolific striker agreed to a two year contract with the Berekum team following the abrogation of his deal with the Saudi Club, Al-Feiha.
This is the second time that, the former Ghanaian international is joining the Berekum giants after he signed for the club in 2012 following a short stint with Saham Football Club in Oman.
The former Ashanti Gold striker blazed the trail in 2007 when he played for the Black Starlets of Ghana in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in South Korea.
After an excellent showing in the Under-17 Championship, his name became a household name and soon the football career of this promising and talented chap suffered a setback with some transfer saga and injuries which almost shattered his ambition and left him struggling in the football scene, having played for seven different clubs in eight years.
He is expected to beef up the attacking potency of the former league champions in the upcoming 2015/2016 league season with striker Kofi Owusu exiting the club after scoring 19 goals last season.
This is an opportunity for Sadik Adams to relaunch his career to prepare him for a possible exploit in Europe.
