Kumasi Asante Kotoko supporters PRO in the Brong-Ahafo region Awudu Issaka Ibrahim has raised tensions in the current league leaders camp after making drug related allegations against Accra Hearts of Oak.
The official who seemed very disturbed about the recent improvement in the form of Accra Hearts of Oak much to the amazement of all and sundry jabbed the players and their manager about the kind of training methods their Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi has been teaching his players which has seen them improve tremendously and propelled them to the top of the league table after playing four matches, winning three and drawing only one.
Speaking to an FM station in Kumasi, the official claimed that the players of Accra Hearts of Oak can play additional 90 minutes without getting tired immediately after a match, something he claimed to be humanly impossible. He continued that if they [the players of hearts of oak] have not been doing something fishy, they cannot play that way.
He further tasked the GFA officials to do due diligence, investigations and possibly test all the Hearts of Oak players to see if indeed they are playing with their own strength or they together with their Japanese manager have been taking performance enhancing drugs.
