For daring to attack the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Attah, three people have been arrested by the police.
The three, all workers of Atpage Limited and Ottis Equipment companies, companies that specialise in the renting of bulldozers to the public.
The Minister was touring the area ahead of the constructionn of tunnel to link Spintex to East Legon and had given given the companies a two-week ultimatum to vacate their place.
The companies are operating from the shoulders of the Accra-Tema motorway hence the directive.
But the workers who considered the directive by the Minister as an attack on their businesses wanted to pour their anger on the Minister but the police moved in swiftly and arrested three of the agitating workers..
They have since been handed over to the East Legon Police.
Meanwhile, work is progressing steadily and it is expected that the contractor will complete the project on time.
