NPP activist and a member of the assets retrieval task force, Kwame Baffoe, known as “Abronye DC” has vowed to pursue and retrieve all state vehicles in the possession of former Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuye.
Abronye, who was part of the task force which stormed the Aplaku residence of Honourable Nii Lante Landerpuye last week in search of state vehicles allege he has documents to prove that the former Minister has in his possession four state vehicles.
According to him, though their first attempt to retrieve the vehicles was unsuccessful, he will storm the house again in full force for the vehicles.
His motive he says is because the MP for the Odododiodoo constituency has in the past condemned Obetsebi Lamptey for purchasing a government bungalow by describing it as unethical and dared him to head to the ICC if he feels his rights have been trampled upon.
“Once he has accepted that state vehicles are in his possession, I will storm his house with bulldozer and tow them away…when we get there and he is having sex with his wife on his bed and the vehicle is under his bed, we would not be concerned with the sex act, we would only tow away the vehicle.”
“I thought Nii Lante Vanderpuye was the one who said it is unethical to buy government assets, the former Chief of Staff said same and President Mahama also ordered same…”
A government task force charged with the retrieval of state vehicles last week Tuesday stormed the residence of the Odododiodio MP in search of state vehicles.
But Honourable Nii Lante Vanderpuye’s wife is alleged to have opposed the team from entering on grounds that they had no search warrant.
Meanwhile, Nii Lante who was not in the country at the time the team stormed his house has denied possessing any state vehicle and called the bluff of Abronye.
