Anas Salutes Kwesi Nyantakyi For His Contribution To Ghana Football

Although GFA President, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi has been fingered in the yet to be premiered “Number 12” exposé by Anas, his exploits in charge of affairs have not escaped the radar of Anas.

The investigative journalist, took time to acknowledge the embattled GFA boss for his contribution to football in the country and beyond.

Though strange, but part of a post on his Facebook page, titled Of Ghana’s Sporting Heroes and Villains: The Silent Musings Of Anas Aremaeyaw Anas” acknowledged his good works.

From breaking Ghana’s World Cup jinx by qualifying the country to three straight FIFA World Cup tournaments to Nyantakyi’s impressive meteoric rise up the echelons in the football circles, Anas saluted the GFA Capo.

“I should not let the sun set on my mental journey before I say a word of acknowledgement to GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, also Northern-born. One of the youngest to become head of Ghana football, Nyantakyi has had an impressive meteoric rise up the echelons to become Vice President of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) and a FIFA Executive Council member.

“He is also the GFA head to have broken Ghana’s World Cup qualification jinx by taking us to three straight FIFA World Cup tournaments.”

Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi has been a subject of investigation by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following an investigation by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The CID is investigating him on the charges of defrauding under false pretext.

Mr. Nyantakyi in the yet to premiered video, is alleged to have used the name of the President and his vice in negotiations between him and some investors who were interested in establishing businesses in the country.

He is alleged to have told his supposed business partners that he has the President and some of his key appointees “in his pocket” and that if they wanted to do business in Ghana, all they needed to do was to “give the President $5 million and his vice $3 million”.
