The Coach of Ghana’s Senior National Team, the Black Stars, Avram Grant has held a meeting with coaches of Ghana’s Elite Division.
The meeting which was the first of its kind since he was appointed as the coach of the Black stars was to afford him the opportunity to interact with the coaches and share ideas on how they can improve the local league and football in Ghana.
Mr Grant shared with the coaches the rich experiences he has acquired over the years whilst coaching for some big clubs in Europe, namely Chelsea, Portsmouth and Partizan Belgrade.
He urged the coaches to continue to upgrade themselves to enable them gain the needed knowledge and experience to turn the local league around to make it one of the competitive leagues in the world.
He disclosed that, he was in talks with the League Managers Association of England to bring down some coaches from England to share their knowledge and experiences with their Ghanaian counterparts as part of the efforts to improve the game of soccer.
