The body of a dead Liberian teenager has tested positive for Ebola after the nation was declared free of the virus six weeks ago.
Deputy health minister Tolbert Nyenswah said tests carried out on the corpse of the 17-year-old boy, has confirmed that he had died of the disease.
Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone were the hardest hit nations in a pandemic that has claimed more than 11,000 lives since December 2013.
The three nations were almost in control of the spread of the virus but the start of the rains in West Africa has seen the number of new cases has going up recently.
Officials are calling for restraint as investigations are underway to find out how the teenager might have contracted the Ebola virus.
