The embattled former husband of controversial TV personality Afia Schwarzenegger, Lawrence Abrokwa was today Monday, September 25 granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
Abrokwah is standing trial on two counts of domestic violence, threat of harm, assault on the one hand and publication of obscene material on the other.
The court presided over by judge Mrs Jane Harriet Akweley Quaye slapped a bail sum of GHS20,000 plus three sureties all of whom must be people with jobs on him.
The court after listening to arguments from counsel for the accused, lawyer Maurice Ampaw that his client will not interfere with the investigations in any way subsequently granted the bail application.
The case has been adjourned to 11 October 2017.
Lawrence Abrokwah was arrested by the police for allegedly leaking a nude video of his ex- wife, a charge he maintains his innocence.
