Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland Victor Smith says that he his relationship with former first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has become unfriendly.
Speaking onon Wednesday in London, the former spokesperson to the Rawlings’s said, although they worked closely together for many years as fellow party members, they disagreed and fell apart along the way, but hopeful with time their differences will be trashed out.
“I have a frosty relationship with her but when I met her recently I went to greet her”.
“We disagreed at some point during the time that I was working with the former President; we had a disagreement on an issue and we fell apart but I hope with time, some of these things will be ironed out and we can move forward,” Mr Smith said.
The former Eastern regional minister debunked allegations that he was sacked from his position as spokesperson for the former president.
