Activities at the various courts across the country were brought to a halt as members of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG), for the second time this year have declared an indefinite strike.
According to the JUSSAG, government has after series of meetings and promises blatantly refused to implement the recommendations of the Judicial Council after the Council recommended the consolidation of their salaries and allowances.
Lawyers and clients have expressed their frustrations and disappointments at the strike action and called on the government to as a matter of urgency meet the demands of the striking workers.
