Ludacris Hints At Role In Empire Season 2



Ludacris has hinted at his new role in the upcoming second season of Hip Hop-themed television show Empire.

Revealing his involvement through his Instagram account, Ludacris posted a photo of himself alongside Empire star Terrence Howard, who plays Lucious Lyon.

 In the photo, Ludacris is dressed as a prison officer standing with Howard who sports an orange prison uniform. Howard’s character, Lucious Lyon was sent to jail at the end of the first season.

The Atlanta, Georgia native captioned the picture: “This could get interesting….. #empireseason2”

Entertainment Weekly reports that, shortly after Ludacris posted the photo, Fox confirmed that the rapper will guest star in an episode of the second season.

The publication indicated that he will play a “hard-working correctional officer and veteran of the Federal Bureau of Prisons who believes that celebrity inmates should be treated no differently than regular criminals – especially Lucious Lyon.”

Ludacris joins other Empire newcomers such as Marisa Tomei,Chris Rock, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Adam Rodriguez and Lenny Kravitz, reports E! Online.
