MadHouse Sunyani Premiere set for Friday, December 6, 2019.
Ghana’s latest hilarious movie, MadHouse, makes its next stop in Sunyani as it premieres in the Bono regional capital on Farmers’ Day.
The film which brings to the fore issues of mental health and seeks to clear the stigma around the condition, uses comedy and suspense to tell the story of a hard-working lawyer (Akrobeto) who engages in substance abuse to boost his career, and two university students (Bismark the Joke and Lawyer Nti), who fell into the complex web of love with two ladies and ended up in the psychiatric hospital.
Producer of the movie, Mr Michael Kwaku Ola, has told that the film is very unique in the way it highlights serious issues in a lighter and subtle manner within original movie sets and actual locations such as the wards of the Accra Psychiatric hospital, and still creates the needed attention.
The film, according to him, would provide a fun and thrilling experience and therefore patrons should expect a rewarding outing in the evening of the farmers’ holiday.
It will show at The Vanns Cinema near Melcom on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 6pm prompt, with tickets going for just Gh¢15.00 each.
Produced by MKON Multimedia and Listowell Productions, MadHouse is directed by Michael Kwaku Ola and Frank Fiifi Gharbin.
