Teacher and Businessman, Alexander Gyan has beaten off competition from two other candidates to win delegates approval to represent the New Patriotic Party in the Kintampo South Constituency in the 2016 elections.
He polled 416 votes followed by Akwasi Adu Gyan, an IT Consultant who got 103 votes.
Isaac Boahen, son of former NPP Parliamentary aspirant for Kintampo North, I.K.S. Boahen, also polled a paltry 27 votes.
According to our reporter, the two losing candidates promised to support the winner to snatch the seat from the NDC and help Nana Akufo-Addo win the 2016 elections.
