Rampaging Nsawkaw Youth Disrupt Independence Parade


Nsawkaw-youthExclusive reports reaching BA News have it that the youth of Nsawkaw in the Tain District have prevented the 58th independence day parade from being held in the district capital.

The youth who are currently demonstrating against the DCE Mr Samuel Jones Tawiah over alleged comments he made on Adom FM – a private radio station in Accra, have gone to the parade grounds to drive away dignitaries, school children and spectators who came there to take part in the parade proceedings.

According our sources, the youth are asking for the DCE to be sacked claiming that his alleged comments that Nsawkaw does not deserve to be the district capital of Tain is in bad taste.

As you read this story, the youth are burning car tyres and chanting morale slogans to show their displeasure about recent turn of events in their district.
