Former Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba banged in two spectacular backheel goals within two minutes to help his side Montreal Impact secure a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC.
The 37-year-old ex-Chelsea striker has so far scored 11 goals since joining the Canadian side in the summer — and what has got the world talking is the fact that he keeps scoring splendid goals though many were of the opinion that Drogba was over the hill.
Former Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore shot Toronto into the lead just before half-time, but a brace from Drogba in the second half of the MLS regular season finale was enough to earn his club a home play-off date.
Montreal Impact now lies third in the Eastern Conference while Toronto FC falls to the sixth position on the ladder.
