Where Is Moonlite FM’s Kwaku Owusu Agyei ???

Kwaku-Owusu-AgyeiThe Media Landscape getting to the end of 2014 and early 2015 witnessed some movement of seasoned and top notch radio personalities from one radio station to another.

Notable among them are the alleged departure of Kwame Adinkra of Angel FM to Atinka radio in Accra, the movement of Abatey of Asempa FM to Atinka FM, and also the likely move of Saddick Adams SportsObama’ from Angel FM to Atinka FM.

The Bono-Ahafo Region has also had its share of this kind of “prostitution” by radio people.

One dominant voice in the Suncity which for some weeks now has conspicuously gone missing on radio is Kwaku Owusu Agyei, host of Moonlite FM’s morning show. His absence has sent many tongues wagging, wondering and speculating  about the whereabouts of the Superstar.”

However, banewsgh.com has monitored with keen interest the Moonlite platform and can say with certainty that Kwaku Owusu Agyei is missing in action and as a result Kobby Acheampong has officially been appointed as the new morning show host for the New Town based radio station, confirming rumours making the rounds about the departure of the versatile and assertive morning show host.

Kwaku Owusu Agyei, affectionately known in the media industry as Patoo is said to have joined the Multi Media fraternity with reference to Adom FM. banewsgh.com is yet to confirm the veracity or otherwise of the movement.

Well if it turned out to be true that Patoo has left Moonlite FM for Multi Media, then the Region has lost another experienced and versatile radio presenter after the departure of Saddick Adams SportsObama’ (formerly of Suncity Radio), Kuuku Abban (formerly of Sky FM), Kwasi Boateng (formerly of Space FM) to Angel FM, Joy FM and Fox FM respectively.

Some people banewsgh.com spoke with described Kwaku Owusu Agyei as a morning show host par excellence considering his rich credential in the radio profession and said if given the opportunity at Multi Media, he would excel and propel Multi Media to another level.

However, notwithstanding his rich experience, others too are skeptical and doubtful about his future and survival at Multi Media which they described as a bigger platform having the likes of KABA, Omanhene and Captain Smart who have established themselves and therefore it would be very difficult for the gentleman to stand the test of time.

Kwaku Owusu Agyei has worked with many top radio stations in Bono-Ahafo and Ashanti Regions namely Sky FM, Space FM, Classic FM, Boss FM, Storm FM and Moonlite FM.
