Two Ghanaian hit makers Reggie Zippy and Bollie who had taken a long break from music and were pursuing other dreams in the UK, resurfaced earlier this year and made an impressive appearance as a duo — ‘Menn On Point’ — on popular reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent.

Though they had a disappointing appearance and were booted out in the early stages of the competition, their exit wouldn’t discourage them from hitting on to achieve their ambition of attaining world domination.

Menn On Point are through to the boot camp of another UK reality TV show, the X-Factor, after mesmerizing the judges and audience at one of the competition’s auditions.

The duo stunned the judges with the performance of their original song ‘Turn It Up’ and got a thunderous applause from the crowd who danced and cheered on with excitement throughout their time on stage.

British singer Rita Ora, also a judge on the show, was up on her feet dancing as Reggie Zippy and Bollie charged up the atmosphere at Wembley.

Rita and other judges including Nick Grimshaw were all full of praises for the Ghanaian duo while the ever-blunt and outspoken Simon Cowell was left almost speechless.

Menn On Point’s performance received excellent reviews from the judges with Nick Grimshaw saying, “not only was this good, people were bouncing in here”, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini said “you sound infectious and I enjoyed it”.

Simon Cowell, who is mostly known for making sarcastic comments about singers, easily passed the duo saying, “I love you two…you’re completely nuts…I can see that with you, it’s always going to be a sunny day.”

Cowell, finally gave the duo the ticket to the next stage saying, “Menn On Poinnt, ”you have 4,321 yeses!”

This is certainly a proud moment for all Ghanaians. Kudos to Reggie Zippy and Bollie!
